About imani

Imani Brissett is a first-generation American from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from a large Jamaican family. He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University. CHIRP CHIRP!

After graduating high school, preparing to go to Berklee College of Music, and while doing a community theatre production Imani found the passion that he had been wanting and missing his whole life within musical theatre. With a quick shift in gears, Imani set off on his journey to Ball State where he could work on and perfect his craft. Most recently, he appeared as Flick in the musical Violet by Jeanine Tesori with direction and choreography from Christie Zimmerman and music direction from Michael Rafter. In his free time, he loves composing and writing original music, playing video games, writing poetry, and eating yummy food.

Peace and Love!
